In McCulloch County, there are only three contested local races — County Clerk, County Commissioner for Precinct 2 and Justice of the Peace.
In the un-official results, two of the three incumbents won their races, with one challenger defeating the sitting official.
County Clerk – Christine Jones received 766 votes to defeat her challenger, Kathrine Wigginton, who got 624 votes.
County Commissioner – Precinct 2 – With 129 votes, Challenger Dae Locklear defeated incumbent Randy Deans, who received 97 votes.
Justice of the Peace – Incumbent Maggie Sawyer received 910 votes to defeat challenger Dave Lewis, who received 496 votes.
There was only one uncontested race in Mason County for County Judge. Incumbent Sheree Harden had chosen not to seek re-election. Shannon Worrell received 849 votes, defeating Garrett Allen who received 398 votes.
Menard County had two contested races.
County Treasurer – Tyson Roll received 254 votes, defeating Marcie Benevides who received 210 votes.
County Commissioner, Precinct 4 – Gary Hardin received 91 votes, defeating incumbent Tyler Wright who received 79 votes.
