Vera Rodriguez Gonzales, of Menard, passed away on Tuesday, April 14th at the age of 96. Survivors include her sons, Emil, Benjamin, Richard, Andy and Hector Gonzales; daughters, Kathy Gloria, Velma Smith, Ruby, Annabel Chapman, Lt. Col. Christi Fairley; one brother; two sisters; 28 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, April 17th from 5-7pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Menard. There will be another visitation held Saturday, April 18th, prior to the service, from 10-10:45am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, April 18th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Menard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Leatherwood Memorial Chapels of Brady.
