Mason, McCulloch County Commissioners Courts Meet Monday

Mason and McCulloch County Commissioners’ Courts will each be meeting for their regular sessions Monday mornring.

Mason County Commissioners will begin their session at 8:45am. Early on their agenda will be requests for approval for a full-time County employee to donate sick time to another full-time worker, and a request for approval of back pay for a terminated employee.

Commissioners will also be considering approval of contracts for road materials, IT services and sealed bids at the Airport.

The session will conclude with a presentation on Health Benefits for 2027 by Zesch Insurance.

McCulloch County Commissioners will begin their meeting with a presentation from Zesch Insurance for County employees for the next fiscal year.

Commissioners will next hold a discussion of the Emergency Water Protection Plan from the 2025 Flood Disaster.

Action items for McCulloch Commissioners will include a request to lease one-acre from a 14 acre tract owned by the County adjacent to the Substation at 400 E. Highway 190. This item had been tabled at the April 13th meeting.

The Commissioners will consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Brady for EMS services for fiscal year 2027 in the amount of $326,600.

Also on the agenda for Commissioners will be to consider a transition to a voluntary unit road system and appointment of a road superintendent for two years as allowed by Texas Local Government code.

Final item of the day will be a Budge/FEMA workshop at 1:30pm.
