Acting Texas Controller Kelly Hancock announced this week the State will distribute $1.3 billion in sales tax rebates to Texas Cities and Counties in the month of June — 7% percent more than in June of 2025.
McCulloch County sales tax rebates in June are down 2% at $179,000, and flat on a year-to-date basis at $1,80,000. Within McCulloch County, the City of Brady’s tax rebate for June is off 3% at $120,000. For the year, the City of Brady’s rebate is down 2% at $726,000.
Mason County’s rebate in June is up 6% at $39,000, and up 7% for the year at $233,000.
The Menard County rebate totaled $33,000 in June — off 2% from 2025. . Year-to-date, Menard’s rebate is $226,,000 — up 8%.
San Saba County’s June rebate is $93,,000, down 13% from last year. Year-to-date, however, San Saba’s rebate is up 25% year-to-date at $843,000.
