National Teacher Appreciation Day was May 2, 2023. This year Teacher Appreciation Week will be May 8th -12th and at KNEL the month of May is Teacher Appreciation! During the month of May we will be taking nominations for the “Best Teacher Award”. Nominate your favorite teacher! We have great teachers living right here in our community! These include educators who go above and beyond to put kids first and not only teach but also inspire! They work tirelessly and never ask for recognition. A teacher is not what you do, but what you are. Teachers are unsung heroes who deserve to be recognized and told how much and appreciated they are!! We will be talking about

So any people go unnoticed for their hard work, dedication, faithfulness, and service. Individuals wo are the shining stars that stand out! The person that makes your world a brighter place with just a smile.
We all have been impacted by someone during these dark times…. maybe it is our friendly retail worker, hairstylist, educator, first responder, health care provider, social worker, city (official, staff, utility worker), county worker, plumber, electrician, news, media, pastor, parent, or friend! These are just to name a few essential people!
