Above and Beyond Teacher 2024 – Brandy Cavness

Brandy Cavness is a first-grade teacher at Rochelle Elementary School. She has taught special education before in Brady Middle School before filling a post in the Rochelle school district. She has helped organize programs for school sponsorship and assisted with most activities within the school district to aid the students in advancing their education. Brandy and Jeff’s two youngest daughters are dyslexic, and she had helped them become tops in their educational standings and their eldest daughter is now in college in San Antonio and is tops in her class. She will soon be aspiring to achieve her master’s degree. Brandy is a caring individual that wants her students to achieve tops in their chosen fields and she is willing to go the extra mile to help them do just that. She is my choice for a teacher that goes above and beyond to see that our students get the best and most well rounded education in our area.
