The Texas AgriLife Extension offices in Concho, McCulloch and Menard Counties will present their annual Producer/Landowner Symposium on Tuesday, Jan. 23rd at Jacoby Feed & Seed in Melvin.
Registration is at 7:30am, with the program to begin at 8:00am. RSVP by Jan. 19 for $25. After Jan. 19, fee is $35. Lunch is being provided by Jacoby Cafe and sponsored by Central Texas Farm Credit.
The program for the Symposium will cover —
– Estate and Tax Planning with Dr. Jason Johnson, Associate Professor and Extension Economist
– Oak Wilt and Drought stress on Trees with Robert Edmonson, Texas Forest Service
– Prescribed Burning with Mark Moseley, Chairman McCulloch Co. SWCD
– Plant Identifcation (including plant specimens) with Steve Nelle, Retired Natural Resources Service
– 101 Wildlife Valuation with Kory Perlichek, Wildlife Biologist, Texas Parks & Wildlife.
