Make your way to Magical Mason on Saturday, April 6th! Enjoy a walk around Mason Square with local artists and winemakers! From 11 am to 4 pm, a whole host of artists, craft folk, winemakers and non-profit organizations will be lining the sidewalks with their creations and offerings.
What started with barely 15 artists has grown over the years to more than 60 artists and craft folk, local and neighboring wineries, most of which use Mason-grown grapes in their exceptional wines, and our local charitable organizations. In fact, we have outgrown the spaces available on Historic Mason Square! We have added a new section, allowing us to bring even more fun to our event!
Arts include paintings, ceramics, woodworking, photography, fiber arts, jewelry, soaps, salves, candles, African handmade tapestries, bags and much more. Make sure to pop into our local boutiques to see artwork as well!
Enjoy the history of Mason at the Mason Square Museum. Take a drive to see the Llano River and the beauty of our County. Treat yourself to lunch in one of our great eateries. Visit Ft. Mason, the last outpost of Robert E. Lee before the Civil War. Tour the Seaquist House, which received a Texas State Historical Marker in 1974 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1887, it will transport you back in time!
Stay for the 7 pm FREE Gala Performance of Mason’s Chamber Music Festival featuring Austin’s Artisan String Quartet at the Odeon Theater. They will be presenting works by Mendelssohn and Schubert. You’ll even enjoy viewing the newly reconstructed Mason County Courthouse, lost in a devastating fire in 2021!
