Former students of Texas A&M University will assemble in Brady on Sunday, April 21st for the annual Texas Aggie Muster, to honor all Texas Aggies who have passed away in the last year. This Muster, which covers four counties: McCulloch, Mason, Menard and Concho, will be at 6pm in the Heart of Texas Events Center, 804 San Angelo HWY, in Brady.

The Muster tradition, which spans more than a century, will be observed in more than 300 locations around the world. These gatherings have been held on battleships and in foxholes during World War II. This is one of A&M’s most honored traditions. As each name is called, a friend or family member will answer “Here!”, symbolizing that their memory lives on in our hearts.

A catered supper will be served at $20 per plate at the gathering. For more information about this event or other A&M traditions, or to register for the event, please call or text Muster Chair Mike Barbour at (325)456-4990 or by email at [email protected]
