Celebrate the history of the Bluff Schuetzenverein, a German marksmanship and social organization which once made its home on the grounds of Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites in La Grange. Experience the unique traditions of the late 19th and early 20th centuries that honor our German-Texan heritage.
The FREE Family Fest begins at 11:00 and features festival games, community booths, guided tours of the brewery ruins, living history programs, special exhibits, a laser shooting gallery, food & drinks, and more!
Within the Festival grounds is the Texas History on Tap Beer Garden fundraiser, open 1-7pm. Ticketed guests can taste Texas brewing heritage and meet the teams behind their favorite breweries. The beer garden also features live music and a dancing stage for all to enjoy. All proceeds go to furthering education and preservation at the historic sites.
