Voters Invited to Meet the Candidates at July
21 Forum
Brady, TX — Citizens For Change invites residents of McCulloch, Kimble, Mason, Menard,
and surrounding counties to meet candidates at a public forum on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the
McCulloch County Library, 401 E Commerce St, Brady. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the forum
begins at 5:30 PM.
Three candidates seeking office this election cycle are expected to participate: Claire Reynolds,
candidate for U.S. Representative, Texas District 11; Kathryn Hartmann, candidate for State
Representative, District 53; and Riley Rodriguez, candidate for State Senate, District 28.
The forum will give Brady-area voters a rare opportunity to hear directly from candidates about
issues important to McCulloch County, including agriculture, the economy, education,
healthcare, and public safety. Each candidate will give an opening statement, answer moderated
questions, respond to audience-submitted questions, and close with final remarks.
Audience members are encouraged to bring questions. Question cards will be available at the
door and may be submitted throughout the evening. The forum will be moderated, and audience
questions will be reviewed to ensure a range of topics is covered.
The event is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. An informal meet-
and-greet with the candidates will follow from 7:00 to 7:30 PM.
