McCulloch County Republican Women will meet Thursday, March 20th at the McCulloch County Library at 11:30am. Speaker will be Eric Bruntmyer, President of Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. Eric Bruntmyer became Hardin-Simmons University’s 16th President on June 1st of 2016. As Chief Executive Officer for this private, Christian university with bachelor, master’s and doctoral programs, he has focused on building a quality team, increasing enrollment improving financial stewardship, building new buildings and remodeling old facilities, as well as fund-raising and starting engineering and nursing programs.
Prior to serving Hardin-Simmons University, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Dallas Baptist University. Bruntmyer has taught doctoral, master’s and undergraduate courses in class, online, via live video feed and in hybrid formats.
