The Mason County Chamber of Commerce is launching a partnership with the Angelo State University Small Business Development Center with the first of a series of quarterly training sessions to be held in Mason.
The first SBDC training session will be held Thursday, Jan. 11 from 12-1:00pm at the Chamber offices. The sessions are FREE. Lunch for attendees will be provided by KNEL Radio and KNEL Multi-Media. Register for the session by contacting the Mason Chamber at 347-5758 or [email protected].
The first session will cover Analyzing and Managing Your Cash Flow and will be led by James Leavelle, a Certified Business Advisor at ASU’s Small Business Development Center.
Managing your cash flow can be tricky. This training event will help those attending better understand how to maximize their cash flow and keep a steady flow moving in an out of their business.
The session will cover various topics and key terms to help manage cash flow, such as fixed and variable costs, contribution margin and your break-even point.
By understanding the 3 key drivers – managing inventory, accounts receivable and expenses – you will be more confident in making decisions based on the businesses financials.
In addition to offering the Quarterly no-cost training sessions, the Mason Chamber and SBDC are also offering no-cost business advice for small business operators who will have a choice of either virtual or personal visits with Business Advisor James Leavelle.
