Brownwood’s own Ricky Herring joined the Festival for the very first time this year. A proud 10‑year resident of Brownwood, Ricky has enjoyed several Heart of Texas Country Music Association trips and is a longtime fan of the Malpass Brothers. His enthusiasm for great music and community events made him a welcome addition to this year’s celebration.
