It is with great honor that we announce our KNEL Above and Beyond Volunteer recipient for 2025, Regina Lott. Regina serves as the Wesley Nurse, and her unwavering dedication to the well-being of our community is nothing short of extraordinary. She consistently goes far beyond the scope of her professional role, offering her time, skills, and compassion to serve those in need.

Regina has a heart for assisting low-income families, ensuring that they receive not only medical support but also access to vital resources. As an active and engaged member of the Hunger Coalition, she serves on the board and contributes countless hours to the food distribution center, helping to alleviate food insecurity in our area. Her leadership, vision, and hands-on commitment have made a tangible difference in the lives of many.

One of Regina’s most impactful contributions was bringing breast cancer screenings back to our town, which had been without mammogram services for some time. Through her persistence and advocacy, local residents had easier access to life-saving early detection screenings, an accomplishment that will have a lasting impact on our community’s health.

In addition, Regina played a pivotal role in securing critical funding for flood relief efforts benefiting the Haven Domestic Violence Shelter. Her ability to mobilize resources and rally support during times of crisis demonstrates not only her dedication but also her exceptional leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Regina’s spirit of service, compassion, and selflessness truly embodies the meaning of “above and beyond.” Her tireless work continues to uplift individuals, strengthen families, and inspire others to give back.
