51st Famed Brady Bulldog Band Auction Tops $11,000

With $11,936 raised  on Saturday, the 51st edition of the Famed Brady Bulldog Band Radio Auction was another success that exceeded expectations.

Due to the cold weather and concerns about road conditions, the 51st edition of the FBBB Radio Auction got a later than normal start Saturday morning, with the bidding set to get underway at 12 Noon.

For 50 years, the Band Auction has been broadcast on KNEL Radio, and recently on Facebook Live, to raise money to support the needs of band students and towards activities to help keep the band strong and encouraged.

Brady Sonic day normally devotes part of its daily proceeds for the day to the Band Boosters, and the tips band students earn carhopping are added to the total.  But, considering this year’s weather conditions, Sonic Day was canceled and will be held at a later day.

Over the course of the day-long event,  a wide array of food, hand made items, gift certificates, services, tickets and retail products of all sizes across the auction table.

James Petty and Holly Stewart will again be there to present and describe all the Auction items.

West Central Wireless again provided  the telephone lines to call during the auction.
