One of the items on the Brady City Council agenda Tuesday night is the approval of the Inter-Local Agreement with McCulloch County for providing EMS services in the County.  The terms of the agreement were reached Aug. 17th at a joint meeting of the County Commissioners and the Council. For fiscal year 2020-21, the County will pay the City just $248,000, which is approximately 18% of the net cost for providing EMS services to both the City and County residents.

Also on the Council agenda will be the purchase of a new Chevrolet 4500 diesel powered ambulance costing $257,00; the second reading of an ordinance to approve amending the Brady Economic Development budget for FY23; discussion of the City’s employee benefit package; the purchase of water meter bodies and limestone road base material; and a request by Lisa Gilbreth to place a memorial stone at Richards Park in honor of her brother, Rod Haseloff.

The Council meeting will begin with a discussion about authorizing the sale of alcoholic beverages at Richards Park during the Goat Cook-Off Sept. 1st through 3rd.  Also to be considered will be temporary street closures and noise variances in the area during the Goat Cook-Off.
