Barley Sells Tax/Accounting Business

Longtime Brady Attorney and CPA Donald Barley announced on Tuesday, he has sold his tax and accounting business, effective on November 4th.  Barley sold the practice to Carl Wiesner.  Wiesner’s office will be located at 214 South Blackburn in the building currently being used by McCulloch County Abstract and Title.

Barley’s current employees Linda Solomon and Marti Luttrall will be joining Wiesners CPA firm.  Barley said that his greatest desire has been to leave his clientele in good hands and that he could not be more pleased with his successor.  All present accounting files from Barley will be transferred to Wiesner’s office.  He also states that he will be working with Wiesner to make the transaction as smooth and possible and to assist him through the transfer process.

Barley plans to continue to operate his legal practice and McCulloch County Abstract and Title Company with Jodie Franz, Becky Boyd, Sierra Brown and Sandra Barley remaining with him.

Barley has served the community since returning to Brady in 1979, and taking over his late father, J.D. Barley’s business.

“I can honestly say the most rewarding aspect of my job has been the many friendships and client relationships developed over the years,”  Barley said. “As a result of your support and patronage, my practice continues to thrive and I want to share my sincere thanks.”
