The Brady City Council meeting on Tuesday was moved up to start at 5:30pm in order to give Council Members time to participate in the National Night Out activities that begin at 6pm.

The agenda for the Council meeting was short with just four action items and an executive session.

Action items included a resolution adopting a City investment policy for 2023 and re-appointing Council Member Jane Huffman as the Council representative on the Investment Committee; the first reading of ordinances setting  the Utility rates and Fee Schedule and transferring unfinished 2022 projects to the 2023 budget cycle; and a discussion of changes to the sign front of the Brady Civic Center.

Brady City offices will be close on Monday, Oct. 10 in observance of Columbus Day.  As a result, trash pickups scheduled for Monday will move to Tuesday, with Tuesday pick-ups moving to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday pick-ups will not be changed.
