The Brady City Council met in a Special Executive Session Saturday morning to begin the search for a new Brady City Manager.
Current City Manager, Erin Corbell, tendered her resignation to the Brady City Council at their regular meeting Tuesday night. The Lampasas City Council had announced Monday night Corbell had been selected to be the new City Manager of Lampasas.
At their Saturday meeting, the Council ageed to hire the municipal employee recruiting firm TFG to carry out two separate, but related, activities. First, the firm will provide the City with three qualified applicansts to serve as the Interm City Manager for a period of three months. The second activity is to then move ahead with the search for a permanent City Manager.
Corbell will continue to serve as Brady City Manager until Nov. 15th. She was named Brady City Manager in 2022, after serving as the Economic Development Director and as Acting City Manager. Prior to working for the City, Corbell swa as the executive director of the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce.
