Brady Council Selects Interim City Manager

At a Special Session of the Brady City Council on Nov. 26th, the City finalized the selection of Barbara Holly to serve as the Interim City Manager while the search for a full-time manager goes forward.

Barber is from Cameron and has filled the post of Interim City Manager in several other cities.  She will begin her three-month tenure at the Interim Manager starting on Monday, Dec. 2nd.

The Council will hold its next regular session Tuesday, Dec. 3rd. On the agenda will be a Public Hearing on a request for a variance to setbacks in the 200 Block of W. Pierce. After the hearing, the Council will consider approving the request.

Also on the agenda will be discussion of submitting a grant application to the Texas Dept, of Agriculture under the Texas Community Development Block Grant program.

The Council session will conclude with an Executive Session that will include discussions about the search for a new City Manager, and Real Property discussions related to the Police and Fire Station and the G. Rollie White Complex.
