The Brady City Council began its meeting Tuesday with a presentation by the City’s Gas Division with an update on emergency contractor services and a presentation of the City’s First Quarter Financial report.
The Council then held public hearings on requests for zoning changes at 1107 E. 11th St.; 500 S. Plum; and 701 Grace. Following the public hearings, the Council approved the first readings on those requests for zoning changes. The second and final readings will be held during the Council session on Feb . 1st.
The Council approved the first reading of an amendment to the City Ordinances covering utility rates, programs and regulations that changes the maximum number of days allowed to camp overnight at City parks. The new limit will be 20 days per year.
Other items on the agenda included an update on the Intent to Lease with the Friends of G. Rollie White; an update on the Dodge Heights project and awarding a contract for survey services at Brady Lake.
