The Brady City Council will begin its meetings on Tuesday with a Work Session starting at 5pm. The first subject to be covered will a discussion with Electric Division Superintendent Joe Solis. The second will be an update by the City Manager, Erin Corbell, on the Fire Station, Police Station, electric substations and the Gas Division.
At their regular meeting beginning at 6pm, the Council will consider the second and final readings of ordinances adopting the City budget for 2024, the property tax rate for 2023 and the Utility Rates and Fees schedule for the next year.
The Council will again discuss a proposed resolution authorizing the creation of an employee benefits trust.
In an executive session at the conclusion of the session, the Council will discuss contemplated litigation with the City Attorney and personnel matters with the City Manager.
