The Brady ISD Board of Trustees met for their regular meeting Monday night.  Appearing on KNEL’s Morning Program Tuesday morning, BISD Superintendent Dr. Hector Martnez noted the meeting was fairly short.

Some of the key items he mentioned were that the FBBB has participated in Regional Band Marching competition last week and had earned a score of all One’s.

In other areas, Dr. Martinez reported the Board approved the Campus Improvement plans and recognized the District’s teachers from all three campuses – Brady Elementary, Middle School and Brady High.

Also recognized by the Board was the Special Education Department where he said all the teachers do a terrific job assisting our students and giving the extra help they need.

Dr. Martinez said the District’s current enrollment has remained steady at 975 students.

Also, he gave an update on the athletic facility and its progress. He indicated  the architect has provided a rendering of what it will look like with the other facilities to be demolished. The plan is to remodel the existing practice gym as the dressing rooms for the football teams.
