Brady’s Amerie Stidham Named Ford Female Athlete Of The Month

Amerie Stidham, a senior varsity basketball athlete at Brady High School was recognized Wednesday, Dec. 18 with an award by the Greater Texas Ford Dealers as the Female Athlete of the month for November.

The award recognizes Amerie Stidham as the backbone of this year’s team, showcasing leadership both on and off the court. She has been dominant offensively, leading her team in points, assists, and offensive rebounds, while also dedicating time to mentoring and developing the younger players on the team. Her coach, Dockery, praises her positive attitude, noting that even when facing tough opponents, Amerie remains encouraging, always striving to lift-up her teammates. In addition to her success in basketball, Amerie is a standout athlete in multiple sports, also playing varsity volleyball and softball for the Lady Bulldogs. Her all-around contributions make her a vital asset to her school’s athletic programs.

The Ford Dealers award is now in its 2nd year honoring outstanding female student-athletes throughout the Greater Texas market area for excellence on their field of play, in the classroom, and in the community.  In addition to honoring local athletes, this program also offers a wonderful opportunity to enhance your local relationships, as well as increase your dealership’s visibility in your community.

Amerie Stidham was presented her award Wednesday, Dec. 18 by Mark Smith, General Manager at Destination Ford in Brady.  Amerie’s Coach, Candace Dockey, was also presented a trophy to be displayed at Brady High School.
