Local business owner and current Brady City Council member Aaron Garcia, 38, unexpectedly passed away early on Sunday, December 7th.
Garcia operated Sandy’s Kitchen and Catering, formerly Down Home Country Cookin’, and was currently serving as a Member of the Brady City Council. He previously served as Brady Mayor from May 2023 to May of 2024. Garcia was elected to his current seat on the Council in 2025.
Garcia was also very involved in the community, especially with the Brady schools. He worked with several youth sports teams in the area and actively supported many worthy causes in Brady and McCulloch County.
Services for Aaron Garcia are currently pending with Leatherwood Memorial Chapel in Brady.
