McCulloch County Sheriff, Matt Andrews, reported Thursday that Brady resident, Chadwick H. Huffman, was arrested Wednesday after he failed to respond to a summons to appear before the 452nd District Court in Brady on October 27th.

Following the issuance of a warrant for Contempt of Court for failing to appear, efforts to arrest Huffman led to his fleeing from McCulloch County.

With the assistance of the Texas Rangers and the Texas Dept. of Public Safety, Huffman was subsequently located in a hotel in San Antonio, where he was taken into custody without incident. Sheriff Andrews reported Huffman has since been returned to the McCulloch County Jail.

Sheriff Andrews also indicated an investigation is continuing, with the possibility of other charges in the future.
