Cong. August Pfluger (R-11) held five town hall meetings in District 11 last Thursday and Friday — in Bronte, Ballinger, Coleman, Menard and Eden.

The collection of District 11 constituents that gathered at the Menard Library at Noon Friday was typical. It was a crowd that filled the Menard Library meeting room to overflowing, and it was a positive, up-beat group who enthusiastically responded to news about changes occurring in the U.S. government as a result of PresidenT Trump taking office, and to hope for the future reflected in the Congressman’s remarks.

Cong. Pfluger said the people attending the Town Hall meetings were thrilled about a new day  in government and enthusiastic that a new leader had taken over that cares about the country.

People at the Town Hall meetings, he noted, still have questions and concerns, but they now have a different point-of-view with a spirit of gratitude and optimism.
