“After six years in Brady, we have made a tough decision to resign from our positions in Brady ISD at the end of our contract. Brady has been a special place to my family and I.  We believe we are doing what is best for our family at this time.

In our time here at Brady, we have accomplished many positive achievements both on and off the field of play including making the playoffs for four straight years in football for the first time since 1956-1959, starting volleyball back up, having an entire girls basketball team be on the Academic all district team for four straight years, numerous state powerlifting qualifiers, several state track qualifiers, state tennis qualifiers, Little Bulldog program, campus clean ups, and many other positive achievements. While we are proud of these things and victories, we don’t want wins or losses to define us.  The most important thing we have done is build positive relationships and teach life lessons to our athletes.

Thank you to the coaches, the teachers, the band, the custodians, the maintenance staff, the community, athletic trainers, coaches families, the athletes, media, and anyone else who played a positive role in the culture we have created and  success we have in the Bulldog family.  You are all special and it has been a blessing to be on this journey with you.  You guys are truly the backbone for what we have built here.

We will forever be grateful for the parents who have entrusted us to lead their children over the years. Thank you for allowing us this opportunity and for your encouragement over the past 6years.  Also, thank you to the community who has supported each of our programs and to the many community members who have volunteered to help with the many events we hosted.  Brady has some great people.

I will forever cherish the friendships we have made and the amazing people we have had the opportunity to Coach alongside.  We have a special staff that loves kids, builds positive relationships, and challenges athletes because they see their potential.  The amount of heart each of them has for Brady and our kids has been such an inspiration to see.

Lastly, thank you to the athletes who have spent a lot of time, sweat, commitment, guts, determination, heart, and energy to make the Bulldog Family successful. Each of you has been a blessing and will never be forgotten. The legacy and growth each of our programs has experienced is because of you. The lessons you guys have taught me will forever be engrained in my heart. Thank your for believing in us and giving it your all to represent the Bulldog Family in a positive way.

It is with a full loving heart of gratitude that I say thank you for the memories, the kindness, the relationships, the successes, and the heart that each of you has blessed us with. So for the last time we say “Go Big” as we have done that here in Brady!!

With Love,

Coach Easterwood and Family “
