February Above and Beyond Award

Every community has individuals who go Above and Beyond to make our communities a better place to live.

So any people go unnoticed for their hard work, dedication, faithfulness, and service. Individuals wo are the shining stars that stand out! The person that makes your world a brighter place with just a smile!

Once a month KNEL will be recognizes an individual who is going Above and Beyond to make a difference in our communities.

The February Above and Beyond Award Recipient is Jacque Behrens.

Jacque served the Brady and McCulloch County and area for 40 years as a Family and Consumer Science Teacher for San Angelo ISD and Brady ISD (Total 28 years) and as McCulloch County Agrilife Extension Agent – Family and Community Health for the past 12 years. She has worked tirelessly to help young people succeed at state and national competitions with FCCLA and 4-H. She also has instructed adults on how to better their health and to better themselves overall. Although she has recently retired, she still plans to continue giving back to the community. She also spends time assisting at St. Patrick’s Church in Brady as a volunteer and also during the church’s Fall Fest each year. She is always pleasant and gives 100% to help others.
