At their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday night, the Brady City Council will be holding the second and final readings of three ordinances granting requested zoning changes.

The first two ordinances to be considered will be for rezoning 1304 S. High Street and 300 S. Pecan from Commercial to Single Family Residential.

The third request is to rezone 480 acres at Brady Lake from Brady Lake Recreational to Agriculture. The rezoning is one of the final steps in the sale of the land by the City.

Also on the agenda for Tuesday night, the Council will consider authorizing the staff to advertise for bids for vacant lots at Dodge Heights at Brady Lake.

Another item on the Council agenda is approving the hiring of Haynie & Company to conduct the City’s annual financial audit.

The meeting will conclude with an Executive Session that will include consultations with the City Attorney; deliberations about Real Property; and Economic Development.
