Fletco Construction, based in Mason, announced Thrusday it has been selected to carry out the reconstruction of the Mason High School Puncher Dome, officially named R. Clinton Schulze Stadium.
A true Texas landmark, the Puncher Dome is known for its iconic overhang and rich history. Originally built as a horse racing track before being converted into a football stadium, it has long been the heart of Friday nights in Mason.
Following significant storm damage in early 2024 that left parts of the structure unsafe, Fletco Construction will be leading the complete reconstruction of the stadium during the upcoming offseason.
Fletco officials said they are honored to help restore and modernize this historic venue while preserving the spirit and tradition that makes the Puncher Dome such a special place for the Mason community.
