The Golden Chick restaurant on South Bridge Street in Brady re-opened its doors on Thursday after being closed for several weeks.
And, not only is Golden Chick open again, its also in the purchasing process to become a locally owned operation. The point person for the effort to get the operation up and going again is Brady native and minister Paden Behrens.
Behrens said he saw re-opening the eatery as a way to help the community and the people in it by providing a source for jobs for local residents while also providing them with good food.
The public’s response to the re-opening of Golden Chick was positive, with a steady steam of cars and customers visiting there on Thursday.
