Grant Application, Zoning Regulations On Mason City Agenda

At its meeting Monday night, the Mason City Commission will consider authorizing the development and submission of a funding application to the Texas Water Development Board for further upgrades to the City’s water system.  Funding from the Water Development Board was used to construct the Radium Reduction system for Mason’s water supply and build the High Service Pump Station.

The City Commission will also spend time Monday evening discussing amendments to the administration of the City’s Zoning Regulations. They’ll also be considering amendments to Mason’s Rate and Fee Schedule.

Also on the agenda is approval of a lease between the City and Mason County for office space at the Richard P. Eckert Civic Center for the period of Jan. 1, 2023 thru Dec. 31, 2023.
