At its meeting Monday night, the Mason City Commission will continue with setting in motion the process for hiring a new City Administrator to replace John Palacio who will be leaving the City on March 27 to take a job with the LCRA. The Commission will hold an Executive Session discuss and review the hiring process thus far, and to look at the next steps involved. The City is currently accepting applications and resumes through April 1st from candidates interested in pursuing the position.
The first part of the Commission meeting will include approving equipment purchases, amending the Employee Handbook, providing water to the Robinson Oaks areas and setting the monthly industrial meter charge.
