At their meeting on Monday morning, Mason County Commissioners reclassified a Jailer/Dispatcher to Deputy, then discussed changing a part-time Jailer/Dispatcher to full time. Next, the commission considered hiring and classifying a new Jailer/Dispatcher.
Also on the Commission agenda was hiring and classifying an Advanced EMT for the County.
Other items on the Commission agenda included approving a new member of the Mason Historical Commission; approving an inter-local agreement with Burnet County for jail services; and setting the calendar for developing the 2023 tax rate and for the 2024 Mason County budget process.
Commissioners were also presented the County’s employee Benefit Renewal Plan for 2024.
