This year’s Above and Beyond Teacher award was presented to Linda Fore of Lohn ISD, where she has dedicated 18 years of her teaching career to the Eagles. The award was presented prior to the start of the Lohn ISD Board meeting Thursday evening.
Linda Fore began her teaching career in 2002, starting out as a high school teacher and coach. Over the years, she has taught students at every level, bringing passion, flexibility, and dedication to each new role.
A few years ago, Mrs. Fore joined the Lohn School family, where she quickly made an impact working with our youngest learners in kindergarten and first grade. Although her late husband Bill’s job took the family to Big Spring for a time, Linda’s heart remained in this area. Upon returning to Brady, she knew without a doubt that Lohn was where she belonged.
Linda is the proud mother of two sons, Cade and Cooper, and recently welcomed a new joy into her life—her granddaughter Evelyn.
Whether she’s teaching in the classroom, lending a hand wherever needed, or supporting school events, Linda Fore embodies what it means to be a dedicated educator. Her willingness to step in and teach any subject or grade level has made her an invaluable part of our school community.
The Lohn School family is deeply grateful for Linda Fore’s heart for teaching, her love for students, and her unwavering commitment to our school.
