The Mason City Commission meeting scheduled for Monday at 5:30pm will include an Executive Session in which the Commission will continue with the process for hiring a new City Administrator to replace John Palacio who resigned recently. If any action comes out of the meeting, that will be addressed in Open Session after the Executive Session is concluded.
Also to be included in the Executive Session will be the salary and compensation for City employess Patti Allen and Donna Langehennig.
Other items on the City Commission agenda will be selecting to be included in this year’s paving project; reviewing revisions to the Employee Handbook; considering the Quarterly Investment Report; and approving an inter-local agreement with the State for the Failure To Appear Program used by the Municipal Court.
