Both the Mason and McCulloch County Commissioners’ Courts held their final sessions of the year Monday morning.
Mason County Commissioners addressed a lengthy agenda that began withn a request from the Fort Mason Post of the American Legion to help with costs associated with expansion if the Military Museum.
Other items on their agenda included several personnel-related actions — appproving 2026 salary admjustments for employees; adopting orders authorizing disbursements of salaries; authorizing appointment of employees; and reclassifying EMS employeees from Part-Time to Full-Time.
Also on the Commissioenrs’ agenda was approving a request from the Chamber of Commerce to use the Courthouse Grounds for the annual Reondlup.
McCulloch County Commissioners began their meeting with discussion of a proposal to create a Sub-Regional Planning Commission in the County.
Other areas addressed included donation of materials and labor to the County for road projects; and approval of nominees for the Texas Association of Counties Health and Benefits Board and the Library Board.
