Public Hearing On Proposed Changes To Mason Retirement Benefits

Prior to the start of its regular session at 5:30pm Monday, the Mason City Commission will hold a Public Hearing for comments from the public about proposed changes to retirement benefits for City employees.  After the public hearing, the Commission will consider an ordinance to adopt the proposed changes as part of its regular agenda.

Also on the agenda for the Mason City Commission will be consideration of changes in Commission meeting dates in November and December and discussion of the City’s Quarterly Investment Report.

Next on the Commission agenda will be an Executive Session for discussion of the yearly performance reviews of the City Secretary Patti Allen and City Administrator John Palacio. Following that, the Commission will reconvene in Open Session for discussion of the performance reviews of Allen and Palacio  and for consideration of possible salary adjustments in response to the those reviews.
