Rochelle ISD Votes To Put Bond Election On May Ballot

The Rochelle ISD Board of Trustees voted to call for a $6/75 million Bond Election on the May 4th Local Election ballot.

Meeting in a Special Session, the Rochelle Board first approved an agreement for legal services and bond counsel, and selected a Construction Project Manager to provide bond planning, design and construction oversight.

Next, the Board voted 4-0 to call for a $6.75 million bond election on May 4th. Funds from the Bond Election will be used for campus-wide improvements, including the elementary school, the Ag building, the cafeteria and the gymnasium.

The Rochelle Board held a public meeting Monday night to get input on plans for the proposed bond election.
