The Brady City Council began their session Tuesday at 5:00pm, rather than the normal 6:00pm starting time. By starting earlier than normal, Council members will then have an opportunity to take part in the National Night Out activities scheduled for Tuesday evening.
And, with a very short agenda, the Brady Council members were able to easily conclude their business before the National Night Out events started at 6:00pm at Richards Park.
The Council meeting began with a presentation of an Dometic Violence Awareness proclamation.
Brady Council had two action items on their agenda. The first was consideration of authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Utility Services Co in Perry, Georgia for a 10-year contract for maintenance of the City water tanks.
The second item on the agenda was a discussion of concerns about drug issues in Brady as requested by Angie Turner.
Also on the Council agenda was an Executive Session for consultation with the City Attorney.
