The Texas Rangers achieved their goal of becoming the 2023 World Series Champions Wednesday night with a 5-0 over the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 5 of the series.
After over 50 years in Texas, the Rangers made their third trip to the Fall Classic in 2023, and this time were successful in putting all of the winning elements together to reach the ultimate baseball goal of being the World Series Champions.
After winning Game 1 in the World Series Friday night with a walk-off home run, then falling to the Diamondbacks in Game 2, losing 9-3, the Texas Rangers took the lead in Series with a 3-2 win over Arizona Monday night, then extended that lead with a convincing 11-3 win over Arizona in Tuesday nights Game 4.
