- The TxDOT Brownwood District will be conducting a virtual public meeting and a series of in-person meetings for the proposed 2025-2028 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP).
- The virtual public meeting will include a prerecorded presentation that provides the same information and program materials presented at the in-person public meetings.
- The in-person meetings will be held on April 10, 11, and 24, with each meeting focusing on specific counties within the Brownwood District.
- The Rural TIP includes all projects within the Brownwood District, which includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba, and Stephens counties.
- Comments on the proposed projects must be received or postmarked by May 10, 2024, and can be provided online, via email, or by mail to the TxDOT Brownwood District Office.
In Person meetings will be held —
- Wed. Apr. 10 – Old Lampasas Middle School, Lampasas, - 10:30am -12:00pm – Focus will be on Lampasas, Mills and San Saba Counties
- Thurs. Apr. 11 – Connellee Hotel & Civic Center, Eastland, - 10:30am-12:00pm – Focus will be on Comanche, Eastland and Stephens Counties.
- Wed. Apr. 24 – Adams Street Community Center, Brownwood,- 10:30am – 12:00pm – Focus will be on Brown, Coleman and McCulloch Counties.
