Allen W. Hillert, of Menard, passed away on Friday, December 26th at the age of 84. Survivors include his children, sons Sydney Bruce Hillert and Walden Booth Hillert. His daughter Colleen Lee Friar. One sister. Numerous grand and step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation and viewing will be held at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas on Friday January 2, 2026, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Everyone will meet immediately follow the funeral home service at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park for a graveside service at 2:00 pm.
