The 2025 McCulloch County Junior Livestock Show and Sale — held Thursday and Friday — at the G. Rollie White Complex in Brady featured young people from throughout the County exhibiting their prize rabbits, swine, sheep, goats and cattle. The event also included Agricultural Mechanics exhibitions showcasing the accomplishments of 4-H and FFA students.
In the exhibition, the Grand Champion Steer was exhibited by Payton Nuncio. The Reserve Champion Steer was shown by Kayla Friar.
The Grand Champion Heifer was exhibited by Chicey Powell, with the Reserve Champion shown by Emery Bradshaw.
Landon Owens was the exhibitor of the Grand Champion Market Hog, with the Reserve Champion shown by Kollyns Brandenberger.
The Grand Champion Gilt was shown by Braelyn Brandenberger. Cooper Owens was the exhibitor of the Reserve Champion Gilt.
Flora Appleton was the exhibitor of the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Lambs.
The Grand Champion Ewe was shown by Gracen Willliams.
Gracen Williams was also the exhibitor of the Grand Champion Market Goat, with Charlea Williams showing the Reserve Champion Market Goat.
The Grand Champion Breeding Meat Goat was shown by Charlea Williams.
The Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Angora Goats were exhibited by Trey Evans.
Carlos Gonzalez exhibited the Grand Champion Fryer Rabbit, with Analea Valdez showing the Reserve Champion Fryer Rabbit.
The Grand Champion Breeding Rabbit was shown by Rhett Keyser, with Teryn Moerbe exhibiting the Reserve Champion Breeding Rabbit.
The Premium Sale held Saturday afternoon at the Brady Civic Center made this another outstanding year for the Show. The sale included 62 animals with a grand total for just the Saturday event topping $220,000 going to the various exhibitors. The top bid at the Sale was $10,000 for the Grand Champion Steer, Heifer and Gilt. Close behind were the Grand Champion Lamb at $9,000, the Grand Champion Ewe at $8,000 and the Grand Champion Market Hog at $7,500.

Exhibition coverage included showing of each class of animal, including show results, interviews of exhibitors, 4-H and FFA members, leaders and visitors. Also included will be recognition of Judges and Ag Mechanics exhibitors and winners.
