Candidates for the District 53 seat in the Texas House of Representatives — Rep. Wes Virdell (R) and Kathryn Hartmann (D) — are scheduled to debate on Thursday, Oct. 8 in Brady.
The debate is being sponsored by the non-partisan group, Citizens for Change.
The debate will be held from 6:30 to 8pm at the McCulloch County Library. The debate is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m. If the library fills, overflow seating with a live video feed will be available at the Brady Housing Authority.
KNEL-TV will provide live video streaming of the debate through the KNELRadio.com website, on KNEL’s ROKU channel and the KNEL You Tube Channel. The debate will also be aired live on 95.3 KNEL-FM, as well as the KNEL and Citizens for Change Facebook channels.
