It was a night of recognition for several Brady High School athletes at the annual Ol’ Houn Dawgs Sports Banquet held on Monday night at the Ed Davenport Civic Center. Each Brady Varsity coach introduced their respective teams and presented several certificates for various accomplishments. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Fighting Heart Award given to a girl and boy athlete in each class followed by the announcement of the Outstanding Senior Female and Male Athlete. The Fighting Heart Award recipients are selected by the BHS Coaching Staff while the Outstanding Senior Female and Male Athlete recipients are chosen by the Ol’ Houn Dawgs Booster Club. Prior to the start of the awards program, a delicious BBQ meal was served by the staff of Heart of Texas Restorations.
