The Brady City Council will begin their regular meeting Tuesday night with the presentation of the City’s proposed Budget for FY 2027.

The Council will then address four individual action items. The first will be to conduct a record vote either for or against the proposed 2026 tax rate.

Next, the Council will consider two requests from the Brady Economic Development Corporation for grants to Merica Beer for the facility the company is planning for downtown Brady. One request is for $50,000 for building improvements, and the second request is for $5,600 for signage at the building.

The final item on the Council agenda is to approve the disposal of assets of the property located at 600 W. Walker Street.

The agenda will also include a provision for an Executive Session for discussions with the City Attorney and deliberations on Real Property related to the Police and Fire Dept. facilities.
