Bratton Resignation Leads McCulloch Co. Comm. Meeting

The first item of business on the agenda when the McCulloch County Commissioners convene Monday morning will be to discuss the resignation of Pct. 4 Commissioner, Don Bratton, from that post, effective last Friday. Commissioners will be deciding how to move ahead with replace Bratton in the Pct. 4 post.

Among the 16 action items on the agenda, Commissioners will consider approving a resolution opposing the routing of the 765KV transmission line through McCulloch County; approve an inter-local agreement with the City of Brady for providing Emergency Medical Services in the unincorporated areas of the County; and approve the budget amendment as a result of the tax settlement with Rattlesnake Power that brought $2.1 million to the County.

Also on the agenda is setting the date and time for public hearings on the County’s proposed budget and tax rate for next year.

McCulloch County Commissioners have scheduled two special meetings this week. The first will be Wednesday at 10:30am to consider participating in a Scoping Meeting with FEMA representatives. The second meeting will be Thursday at 2:30pm to consider a Debris Management workshop with the Texas Dept. of Emergency Management.
